Dr Steven Kinnear, Managing Partner
Kinnear Consulting is led by Dr Steven Kinnear, a Physician and Consultant currently training as a GP in Northern Ireland. Steven has a background that includes working as a Registrar in Acute Medicine and as a Medical Manager at the Health and Social Care Board in Northern Ireland. He has also gained valuable regulatory and quality improvement experience working with the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board, the General Medical Council, the Medical Practitioners' Tribunal Service, and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority.
Steven has extensive experience working with health and social care organisations in the public sector. He has also worked on a variety of projects in the private sector for a wide range of clients ranging from sole trader buisnesses and startups to international businesses and household names.
Steven draws upon a network of trusted associates to deliver on a wide range of projects and advisory engagements when additional resources or expertise are required.
Adam John Dalby, Associate Consultant
Originally from East
Yorkshire, Adam is taking a year out to pursue other interests after studying medicine for six years at The Queen’s University of
Belfast. He has business experience in the world of veterinary practice and graduated from
Imperial College London in 2011 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences with Management,
following his group project exploring the importance of networking in General
Practice in providing high quality patient care.
Adam was the Lead of the Communications/Think Tank
Workstream at the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management’s (FMLM) Medical
Student Group (MSG) and has previously been the Transitional Lead of the
Recruitment and Engagement Workstream.
Adam is the Founder of the Queen’s Healthcare
Leadership Forum, and believes passionately that those individuals from all
professions in health and social care working on the front-line are able to best
improve healthcare services for patients and that junior staff must be empowered
to innovate by senior staff in order to modernise the health service.
Dr George O'Neill, Senior Associate Consultant
Dr O'Neill is a GP Partner in the Springfield Road Surgery and Chairman of the drug and alcohol addiction Charity Addiction NI. He has served as Lead Appraiser of General Practitioners since 2006 and was Chairman of the Belfast Local Commissioning Group for five years until 2013.
Dr O'Neill was the recipient of the Special Recognition Award at the 2014 Northern Ireland Healthcare Awards and we can describe his experience and value no better than the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Michael McBride who said:

Bill McKendry, Senior Associate Consultant
Bill has a background as a successful business and Sales Director in B2B sales having held senior management roles with blue chip companies Canon (UK) and Xerox (UK) before founding Docutex Ltd in 1998. Bill successfully built this business over the next 12 years before selling to a private equity backed group in 2010.
Bill is currently an Interim Manager/Non Exectutive Director and an Associate at the University of Ulster Business School where he helped develop the "Sales Excellence Series" to provide companies with practical solutions to improving individual and company performance in the areas of Sales, Sales Management, Customer Relationship Management, and International Sales.
Bill has a natural business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of of business development and business model creation. He brings massive value to consulting engagements and his affable character makes him a pleasure to work with. He also has an extremely diverse network to draw upon for help and advice in a range of engagements.
Graham McCluggage, Senior Associate Consultant
Graham McCluggage is our Medical School Applications Specialist. Formerly a teacher of Biology and Head of Medical and Dental Applications at Methodist College Belfast, Graham has a long track record of success in advising and assisting students applying to medical school. He areas of expertise include UCAS applications and personal statements, application strategy, interviews skills and MMI preparation, and UKCAT preparation.
